Our fun couple of days

Sorry, I'm such a bad blogger. We had such a fun couple of days on Monday and Tuesday. On Monday we went to Wazee with Susan A and her daughter Becca, Sue J, and Tina and her daughters Siren and Makenna. The kids had such a blast playing together.
Then on Tuesday we went back to Wazee with my aunt Luanne, cousin Becca, and Becca's friend Ally. Teagan got a little sunburned despite suntan lotion, but is now just nice and tan. I got burned too, my shoulders are still pretty sore. Hopefully I won't peel. I'm wishing I didn't have to go back to work tonight. I start my 9 day stretch. Ugh. On a sadder note, my uncle who has pancreatic cancer is not doing well at all. They didn't expect him to make it through the night last night. He's still hanging on, but I'm sure it won't be long. I can't wish for him to live and suffer, but at the same time it's so hard to see him go. He's always been so full of life. He is the type of person who thinks that you are mad at him if you don't give him a hard time. My typical greeting to him is always "How are you doing you dumb Norwegian?" There are 10 kids in my Dad's family. In May we had a get together at my Dad's house where all 10 kids were home. It was fun, but also so sad because we all knew that it would be the last time that they would all be together. When my Uncle Raymond was getting ready to leave he looked back at everyone as if to try to remember just how everyone was that day. I gave him a hug and told him I loved him, not a typical thing with Raymond. He smiled at me and said "Now stop it damn it, your going to make me cry". As it's going to be to say goodbye I'm so glad we had that for everyone to be together and laugh and cry. It will be one of my last memories of him that I will always cherish. I'm crying now and Noah is asking for more milk so I'd better end this blog.
