Thinking....Sad....Remembering

My Uncle Raymond passed away this morning at 4:20am. I was awake then because the kids woke up and I just had this feeling that he was gone. Like I said in yesterdays blog I sure don't wish for him to stay on earth and suffer, but it doesn't make his passing any easier for me.
Raymond has a pond in his front yard that we always go fishing in. Since I was a little girl we'd always go fishing at Uncle Raymonds and I think all of us kids fell in the pond at least once growing up. I think I did a couple of times. I want so share a picture of Teagan and Uncle Raymond from the summer that Noah was born.

Raymond loved little kids. He always said "I'm going to tune you up" as he tickled you like crazy. My Dad does this too, Teagan and Noah both say "Tune me up Papa" All the kids loved Raymond I think it's because he was like a big kid himself. I'm not looking forward to Sunday and Monday. I know a lot of tears will be shed. I'm sure there will also be a lot of laughter and memories.

Rochelle,
Sorry to hear about your loss. It does help to remember the good times. As Andrew told me, remember he is no longer in pain. We cry for our loss but need to rejoice for their happiness. Hard to remember at times like this though. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
