42 and Rain

All I can say is what the heck? It's December, it's not suppose to be 42 and raining. And what's worse is the incredible cold we are suppose to be getting tonight. I heard as cold as -25 with windchill. BRRRR, that's a 63 degree temp difference. Crazy Wisconsin weather.
I'm very excited for our cookie baking day with Susan, little Becca, and Stacy tomorrow. I'm just hoping that the roads aren't all ice for our trip to La Crosse. I'm happy to be on call tonight, hoping I don't get called in. I'm sure the roads are going to be very slippery soon. I can handle driving in the snow, but ice scares me to death.

Craig has been sick the last couple of days so the kids and I spent the weekend at my Dad's to let Craig get some good rest. He had the icky gastro bug. A bunch of the guys he works with have been sick too. I just hope the rest of us don't get it. I can't afford to be sick right now.
I'm hoping to get a nap in this afternoon and some more snuggle time with my kids. I've had a lot of snuggle time this weekend. I love snuggle time with them. They both slept with me the last 2 nights at my Dad's. It may be a struggle to get them to sleep in their beds tonight. I hope not.
