Fun with friends, then a not so fun night

It's been awhile again since I blogged, sorry about that. We had such a wonderful day yesterday with friends from work and their little girls. Noah was the only boy, but I really don't think he minded too much. First we had lunch with Stacy and Ayla, the we met Susan,Beccca, Kari, Becca, and Kayla (yes there are 2 Becca's, I'm not losing my mind and typing it twice) at the Children's Museum in La Crosse. The kids had so much fun running around and playing. There are so many neat exhibits for the kids to play with. I can't decide on which pictures to put on here. I did put them on Our Family website and Facebook. We can't wait to have a play date again.

Onto our not so fun night. On our way home our car started making jerking movements when it shifted gears, so it's in the shop right now. We are hoping it's not the transmission, since our extended warranty is up. GRRRR. That will be a very expensive fix if it is. So for now I'm driving a silver Buick Century. (Grandma car all the way)

Our night got worse once we got home. We walked in the house to find out we had no heat. It was 53 degrees. BRRRRRR. So we called our landlord and he had to call someone to fix our furnace. We we ended up at my Dad's for the night. The kids loved hanging out with Papa and I got to sleep in a little bit which was nice. I also got my camera back so I was able to upload pics of the twins to our sites.

I'm off to work in Tomah this afternoon, hoping for a quiet night, I'm really not in the mood to work, but you know those darned bills keep coming weather I work or not.
