He's Home

Just thought I'd share my Grandpa update. He came home yesterday. I can't believe it. I don't think anyone in the family can. I'm still not 100% sure that he didn't sign himself out, but however it happened he's at home. Part of me wonders if he didn't want to go to the nursing home so he decided to leave AMA before all the arrangements could be made. I guess they had him off of oxygen for a day or so and someone decided he was well enough to go home. We all thought the plan was to the nursing home on Monday. Ugh, my poor Grandma. Not sure how it's going to work for her. I talked to my Aunt Luanne this morning and my Aunt Terry had spent the night out there last night. Terry was working with Grandma to fill out the application for the Senior Housing today. They could be moving as soon as Feb 1. It would be so wonderful if they could get moved where they don't have steps and a ton of upkeep to do. They could be 2 blocks away from my Aunt Luanne and 3 blocks away from my Uncle Steve not to mention they would have other people in the apartment building that they could socialize with.

I'm on call again tonight and it sounds like there is pretty much no chance of me getting called in so I'm going to see if I can talk Craig into going to see the twins.
